- Handwritten (3rd grade in ink)
- Must have cover sheets that have:
a. title of book
b. author
c. your name
d. date
e. room #
f. teacher’s name
See Cover Sheet Sample - 1st & 2nd graders must have 1 handwritten page and must be neatly written on loose-leaf paper. 3rd graders must have 2 handwritten pages neatly written on loose-leaf paper.
- Each book report must have a description in your own words as to what the book is about. Do not copy from the book. Copying can be determined and you will receive an “F” for a grade.
- Due dates are posted on the book report list.
- If a date should fall on a holiday, the book report is due on the next day.
- Book reports are extremely important. Students failing to complete all book reports for the quarter will receive an “F” in reading. Summer school is required for all students failing two or more quarters.
