Executive Director's Message
Shirley Allison, Executive Director
Welcome to the Northwest Institute for Contemporary Learning School of Performing Arts; preschool, Academy or both. I sincerely hope you will explore our website, become familiar with our services, and learn more about our goals and achievements. This site is designed to serve as a resource that informs, as well as enlightens our parents, students and the community. As we raise the bar and provide the motivation, instruction, and support every student deserves for academic success, we pause to say “Thank You.”
You will find links to menus, daily schedules, enrollment/application procedures and other resources that help parents stay knowledgeable throughout their child’s school year on school issues, and other activities.
This year we have initiated several new ideas and concepts, drama and dance will be taken to another level.
Northwest is a community based organization that passionately cares about education, our students and their families. Working together, we can assure all students are able to grow academically in a learning environment that ultimately prepares them for success in a world of global perspectives, experiences, and technologies.
We are pleased to have you as partners this year. This website has been designed to familiarize you with NICL and it’s programs. For others it will help you adapt to your surroundings as quickly and easily as possible. Our first and most important responsibility is our students. Our goal is to see that our parents, like the students themselves, feel at home at NICL. To accomplish that, communication is essential, memos, flyers, and parent newsletters are updated as needed.
On behalf of NICL’s staff and myself, we would like to thank you for your continual support and for making 34 years of commitment, dedication, and service possible to our community.
Sincerely,
Shirley A. Allison
